The Anneslie listserve is a Yahoo! "Group" that was the used before the development of Anneslie Community Forum. We understand that many Anneslie residents prefer to use it, but we encourage everyone to create accounts on the new site. The new site has many features that the listserve does not including the ability to pick and choose which subjects they will receive email notifications about. The listserve is better suited for one-time, or short term notification of the neighborhood in a quick time. It is not suited for longer term discussions. The ability to record everyones opinion in an organized list where members can respond to each others opinions in a running dialog is a useful tool. Polls can also be associated with topics so that Community Associaiton can better judge community sentiment on an issue.

The new forum also offers greater security than Yahoo! We are able to hide email addresses and phone numbers for block captains and board members and display greater detail for registered and logged in members.
